Pitfalls and Possibility in Philippi: Reflections on Sustainable Urban Development and Spatial Justice After Apartheid

In the week of 21 March 2019, Spatial Justice in the Postcolony hosted practicing architect, Philip Briel, for a BA Newton Advanced Fellowship seminar entitled 'Pitfalls and Possibility in Philippi' in which Philip critiqued the building project known as Philippi Village. This seminar was delivered in commemoration of the Sharpeville Massacre.
